  1. Hi Alister,

Thank you for the update. I am a PXWFS7 owner in the US. I cannot find the 4.0 firmware update yet here. Any ideas on when that might be available?

    Thank so much,
    Donald

    1. It does not matter where you download it. It is the same update for any FS5 anywhere in the world.

  2. Hello Alister,
We have several FS7s, and while trying to Copy/Paste setup files from one to the other, I found out that data saved from a camera with serial number beginning with 002xxxx can only be read on other 002xxxx camera. the same goes for 003xxxx cameras. I just can’t mix 002xxxx and 003xxxx cameras in the same shoot without having to manually transfer the setups…
    Have you encountered this phenomena?
Any way to workaround this limitation?
    Thanks,
    Monty.

  3. Hi Alistair, I’ve been really enjoying your very informative posts and films, they really are much appreciated. Thank you.

    I’ve a question about firmware updates, if I may…

Having gone into my PXWFS7’s menu System > Version > Number. It appears to be Version4. I am worried having missed plenty of updates since. Is there a simple way to catch up?
