Most likely because you have screwed up the log curve by making adjustments to it. Get rid of all the extra adjustments in your profile, they won't improve things, only make them worse, S-Log 2 LUT's won't work right with raised black level and black gamma. So ditch all that junk and use the S-Log2 ...

The Z450 is an OK camera, but squeezing 4K on to such a small sensor means that it isn't very sensitive and it doesn't have the greatest dynamic range. As an early camera for 4K news it's OK, but if you really want to do a lot of log or HDR you are going to want a camera with more dynamic range.

You need an Atomos or Convergent Design recorder specifically designed for raw to record the raw output. Conventional recorders will not be able to record raw.

Correct the output is 8 bit, so you can't record 10 bit with a ninja inferno.

You are asking too much of the lens you are using. A typical setup for trackside motorsports would be a 2/3" sensor camera (giving greater DoF for slightly less critical focus) with a good quality ENG or EFP zoom. Yes. Use Content Browser to copy the files you want form one folder to another.

LED stage lights are incredibly intense over a very narrow part of the spectrum and will overload many cameras. There is very little you can do about it. Reducing the saturation in a picture profile and using a hypergamma may help a little, but it's not going to eliminate the problem.

If you open the clips in Catalyst Browse you should be able to see the metadata which will contain this information. You must have the full original file structure including the XML files for this to work correctly.
