Zoom remote

Hi Alister, This zoom remote was connected to an F3 at IBC this year and there was another in a glass display. When used with the 18-252mm zoom it had a very nice progressive feel to both the zoom and focus controls. Trouble is, I can't find any info about it, and none of my usual Sony dealers can e...

Re: Pix240 is a piece of junk

snuforeo, I know how you feel. I never managed to get my KiPro mini to work reliably… Massive heat issues, corrupt recordings, crashing software etc. Basically it was a piece of junk. I sent it back to AJA and got it replaced with another that turned out to be even worse! Very unhappy - and very unh...

Re: Is 8 bit OK for S-Log

That all makes perfect sense - thank you. Can I ask a silly but sort of related question: Assuming you've got a 10bit 422 recorder but your clients don't have the time or ability to grade S-Log, is there any difference to the available dynamic range between simply recoding a normal picture profile (...

Re: SONY no longer charging for the S-LOG Upgrade

Just for info, the CBK-RGB01 upgrade is now available in the UK for not much more than the price of the 32GB SxS Card... ie: £525 +Vat. Just do a Google search and you can see who's selling it correctly and which companies are still trying to get more than £2500 for the same item!
