Hi Alister, Well not good news. I got the camera back from the local agents after the techie blew it out and still got a small mark, and he said he would get a new block from Sony. Hi,
got some feed back from our local dealer. The sensor block has dust in (the sealed unit) He will speak to Sony to get a new one as this should be dust free from factory.

Hi Alister, Thanks for your reply, the top issue is strange and so far it has not done it again. I have tried everything in regards to the marks on the sensor and if you adjust the Iris it does go away to a certain degree. The camera is just over 1 year old, how dust resistant should these things be...
