Well Im only guessing ..Ive seen monitors with this red line focus thing.. it should be in your 500 too.. only in the assignable menu... I assigned it.. but pressing the button had no effect at all.. Re the manual... yes a bit useless.. but at least decent English .. my first camera BVW400AP .. half...

Cant find out any info on this.. when activated (via assign button.). nothing seems to happen.. no explanation in the manual or internet ?? any ideas anyone..? Im thinking it might be something to do with EZ mode ??

Ajit TBH I wouldnt let zebra,s and historams rule your life.. sounds like you are using the same camera .. once you are familiar with your view finder you can just shoot.. and concentrate on the actual shots.. if you want it dark and moody.. under expose.. if you want it brighter open up.. maybe set...

Do the nano files need to be 8 channel audio to be able to read on XDCAM Browser V2.. I can see the folder.. but no thumbnails will open..

Ok thanks.. Im surprised that doc,s at least dont have some sort of colour correction .. as its all relatively easy and cheap these days.. I would have thought they would.. anyway I guess there is a reason Sony included the 1 &2 at 100% white.. for this very reason..
