were you using XDCAM browser for the copying.. there is a CRC function you can turn on.. seems the debate rages.. but drag and drop .. "get info" route is often said to be not very secure in the first place.. you can also view your footage in XDCAM browser.. very easy all in one software..

I have a fujinon HD 4.5 wide angle zoom pretty much glued into the camera.. with an optical extender.. but then your having to open the stop and often change the ND filter every time you engage it.. and back again.. the extender is just the press of a button.. I was a bit worried about quality.. but...

sorry slightly off topic.. I have a PMW500 also.. just wondering.. is it possible to go back to earlier version.. after a newer one has been installed.. ? any news from your mates yet ?

Ok thanks Alister.. I actually got a BNC to RCA male. female set up now for the SDI connecter .. so I can plug the BNC cable in a lot easier/quicker now.. and stops the BNC connection getting yanked if I move and the dir doesn't .. !!
