The Epic is finally here. Its a great camera as it takes either PL or Canon lenses.
I also bought an Canon 5D mark2, Canon 24-70 and 70-200 zooms, so I am covered for any shooting situation.

How have you found it to work? Would you recommend them?
I am looking to buy an off board recorder and would like to hear users thoughts. Would use with my F800 on Green screen work or on my Epic camera for corporate work to ease the post path.

For anyone wanting to use and ipad, iphone or hopefully soon an Android device to see proxy video feed off your PDW700 or PDW F800 then you need the XMPilot Tool app. (as well as the software key for your camera and a WiFi adapter) I have been using this now for a few months and am finding more ways...

I saw a demo of Sony's XMPilot software recently and it lets you use an iPad (or smart phone) as a monitor. The F800 can handle user generated gamma curve files. I don't think that the 700 can.
