EX1r shoulder support

Hi all,
I use an EX1r for my weddings video and I'd like to found a minimal hand held support
I like very much the new Zacuto Shooter for Sony FS700
Do you know if it's possible to remove the EX1r hand grip?
I think it's important to have an hand held grip under the lens
