If compare video from PMW 350 that gives camera with SD option and DVcam 400, DVcam will be much better, more sharp and detailed.
Is it possible to improove picture in SD?

HD cameras are optimised for HD, SD cameras for SD. You would need to look at a scene file for the 350 that uses a lot of extra detail correction to mimic an SD camera.
