DSLR Lens for Sony F5/F55

Post by thecamerachap » September 22nd, 2013, 11:14 pm

Hi,
Just watched Alister's Cine Gear talk on vimeo. Extremely interesting stuff. I'm really interested in the Lens options for the F5/F55. Alister mentions he was using a Tokina 18-270mm, I've googled this lens but I can't seem to find any info, could he mean the the Tamron 18-270mm? Also Alister mentions a prototype zoom handle and iris control, does anyone have any information on this?

Sold on the camera, just need to look at the best lens options, I Have a hand full of dslr EF mounts so any info or advise would be brilliant!

Apologies if this question has already been asked!

Many Thanks
Martin

Yes, your right it's the Tamron 18-270. I use it with either an MTF EF mount or the prototype mount I'm working on. The zoom handgrip won't be available until the new year I'm afraid :-(
