Does F3 create proxy files?

Hi, I know how to grab proxy files off and XDCAM HD Disc, but I can't seem to do the same thing with an SxS card, specifically one used with a Sony F3. In XDCAM Browser, the "Copy to Offline Media" command is greyed out. Can I get proxy files from this camera? Thanks.

Nope. Proxy files stopped with solid state. The main reason for the proxy files on the disc based cameras were for fast previewing ability and to help make the editing process faster. With solid state this isn't an issue anymore because the cards are much faster than the old disc system.
In fact with the F3 the 35mb/s files are technically your proxy files. They were never intended as the primary recording standard for the camera, instead being secondary to external recording S-log etc.
