Having nearly fallen off my chair after receiving a quote from my existing insurer for my new PMW kit I was wondering which firms you guys on the forum use to cover your kit?

Where do you live?

In the UK I use Allen Chapman & James (no relation) for my insurance and they have been fantastic over the years. I mad a claim about 6 years ago and they were very good. I have £30k worth of international cover for under £1k.

I'm UK based so I could give them a call this week and see what they can do for me.

You could also try Towergate's Camerasure Policy. I shopped around and found them to be very competative.
