3D LUT in PXW-FS7
Hello, does anybody else experience problems with loading Monitor 3D LUTs into PXW-FS7? The card is formatted in the camera, and I have exported LUTs and Looks from both Sony RAW viewer and DaVinci Resolve. I have placed the LUT files both in the correct place using the camera's folder structure as ...

Ok, I get it. The knee is not automatically off when Cinegammas are used.
Thanks!

Re: FS-700 Flat - Near Log
Interesting, thank you for sharing. I also agree that changing the colour phase gives a more natural tone. (The NEX series of cameras are different from the EX series. Red instead of yellow/green.) One small question though, wouldn't a lower slope point give a smoother roll off into the highlights? ...

Re: MTF services to produce Nikon adapter for F3
This doesn't include any of your two lenses of choice, but might be of interest anyway. I use a Nikon 28-70mm f./2,8. It has an aperture ring and it is very sharp, even full open. However, it breathes when focused and it also suffers from back focus irregularities. It is a good compromise for everyd...

Re: MTF services to produce Nikon adapter for F3
Very true. Having in mind that we are dealing with cheap glass is something one must not forget. However, as I have been asked about this phenomenon from different persons, my curiosity lead me to think that there might be factors involved as well. But I don't have enough facts from their shootings ...

Re: MTF services to produce Nikon adapter for F3
Yes, The flare seems to occur inside of the lens. Or, perhaps, after the adapter. And only on third party SLR-optics. I have never seen it on PL-optics. My thought is that, even though the adapter doesn't spill light itself, light might bounce on the inside of the adapter on to the sensor. I know, i...

Re: MTF services to produce Nikon adapter for F3
Hello everyone.
I have noticed some soft reflections occuring when using Nikon optics toghether with the MTF adapter on F3.
No dirt on front lens, a normal cloudy day, but shades of soft light on parts of the picture.
Has anybody seen the same?
kind regards
Dennis
