voltage issue

Hi,we are planning a shoot in Canada.We are from India. All our equipments( battery charger,laptops,small lights) from India,are compatible to 220-240 Volts and Frequency of 50Hz. Please advice us how to deal with this change Voltage,Frequency,Sockets,Receptacles etc. thanks

Most camera chargers (certainly the XDCAM EX ones and most V-Lock) are multi voltage and should work almost anywhere, check the label on the charger or power supply. The same with laptop power supplies. If you are using full voltage tungsten lights then the easiest is to get some 110v bulbs otherwise I would suggest renting some locally.

If you have a high power device that is only compatible with 220-240v then you can ether get a step up voltage adapter (expensive) or buy a replacement power supply that will work at 110v.
