Hello,
I just purchased a used Canon HJ40x10b Lens for my Sony PMW 350 and PMW 400.
Unfortunately there is no Lens data (like Zoom or Iris Position) displayed in the Viewfinder.
Therefore the Auto Iris does not work properly. When turning Auto Iris on, the Iris closes all the way.
Also, the camera won't turn on when the 12-Pin Lens cable is connected. I have to disconnect the cable, then power on the camera and then plug the cable in.
Is there some kind of power issue?
I tried it with battery and DC Power in...
The Lens was tested and approved at the store and at canon support. They used a Sony PDW 700 and a Sony HDC 1400 and everything worked fine.
Any clues??
Thanks in advance,
