Hello,
A rather frustrating problem with the kit lens on the PMW320: Due to the rather short barrel on the lens, I have a portable teleprompter that won't quite fit because it starts knocking up against the viewfinder. I need to find some sort of lens extension ring or some such to bring it out an extra 3-4mm to give my prompter something more to grab on to. Anyone know of such a thing or some other solution?
Also, the supplied rubber lens hood seems to be a very poor design (turn and lock versus a set screw). The turn and lock lens hood means that it can't be pulled off over any lens filter, even a simple protection filter. Any suggestions? Do I just go dig up another 82mm lens hood with a set screw and shelve the one that shipped?
