I'm looking at the Sony FS700 and thinking of getting the camera without the kit lens. Many people have expressed issues with the expsure knob and lack of a firm stop on the focus ring. I know a popular lens choice is the Sigma 24-70 with a Sony MTF E mount adapter. I'm specifically looking for your blog where you talk about lens that rotate focus and exposure in the same direction as broadcast camera lens? I haven't been able to re-locate it.
I love your solution of putting a zoom lens on FS 700 and F3 cameras. I have a Canon J16aX8B with 2X and have been toying with using that as well.
