I'm looking at buying the PMW-350 and the SD option board.
Does anyone out there use this board? Is the quality of the SD pictures good?
I'd rather use the board for downconversion for SD jobs than using NLEs to do the down convert from HD to SD, as it a long workaround. On the NLEs I have to take it through virtual dub to avoid HD to SD stairstepping effects on sharp edges.

I have a PMW 350 with the SD board fitted. Never had any complaints with the quality and it is good to be in a position to offer SD to anyone not ready for HD for whatever reason. I used it a lot initially when I moved from my DSR 450 to the PMW 350, but haven't used it for about a year now!
