Nano Long GOP or Ki pro mini Prorez! which one?

Help!
I was about to purchase a Nano for use with ex1 & ex3,
However, the launch of the Ki pro mini using 220mbps I frame Prores codec has made me stop and ponder...
Nano xdcam long GOP 8 bit 422 codec or the aja mini using Prores.
I would assume I frame Prores recording offers some advantages during the edit stage? But if my work does not include much colour correction and my final output is either DVD or Blu-ray and image quality is my holy grail then which recorder would be best?
I seem to remember reading somewhere (maybe on this forum) that Alister did a comparison between XDCAM EX long GOP and Prores I frame.
Can somebody offer some purchase advice?

On an EX1 or EX3 the cameras highish noise floor will largely cancel out any possible advantage that 10 bit may give over 8 bit. Basically the 8 bit codec can fully resolve the image noise, so all going to 10 bit does is waste data on noise information. I find the ProRes codec itself to be a little on the noisy side. Also if you want to use 220Mb/s ProRes you will have to spend a lot more on your media as you need to performance CF cards and you will fill them up at least twice as fast as using a NanoFlash at 100Mb/s long GoP (the sweet spot for quality/performance).

Looking ahead as cameras get quieter (better than 59db) then 10 bit starts to make more sense. So maybe the Ki-Pro may be a better long term investment. Personally I love my NanoFlashes, they have proved to be solid and reliable and the low power consumption means running it of a Swit EX battery with D-Tap is easy.
