PMW F5/F55 USB-Port

The F5/55 has 3 USB- Ports - One (A) connector on the right side is for the WiFi Dongle and the mini USB Connector on the left is for file transfer to a computer. But what's about the second (A) connector next to the mini? Can't find any information about this connector in the manual. :?:

I believe this port was included for engineering purposes, but don't believe it is ever normally used.
