Primarily I want a camera for 4K and until the costs of the firmware are known and what frame rates are involved I’m very reluctant to purchase not just Sony cameras but indeed any make. Why is there a need to charge for the firmware? People need to Know where they stand on the se matters and what they are going to get for there money. The test footage (in HD ) looks fantastic but what will 4K bring.
My guess is the 4K update will be around the $700 mark, but that is a guess.
