I am an amateur videographer doing unpaid videos for a charity which are uploaded to YouTube. I am not a professional, I am self taught in camera work and video editing (FCP11). I use mainly Sony PXW-X200 though I am contemplating to upgrade to an appropriate 4K camcorder for my charity work. May I ask whether you can advise me whether your evening course is suitable for me or is it just for professionals. Many thanks.
This is not just for professionals. It is for anyone wanting to improve their film making skills and would be equally suited to amateurs. There will be aspects of the course referencing professional production, but the techniques and methods are also 100% applicable for amateur productions.
Thank you Alister. I have just registered.
Link to March 22-23 course does not work.
Thanks, fixed now.
Hello Alister, Any chance that you can run some workshops here

I’d love to….. if I can find someone to sponsor them.
Alister what do you need ? Can be more specific please.
Obviously flights & accom. car.
Kayell is a national sponsor that does seminars regularly involving Sony and everyone else. I know the national manager quite well. So if I know a little I can move ahead and see what we can do.
They may want you for a Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
