Hi Alister.
Regarding the Zeiss ZF2 lenses.
For my new FS100 I have bought, 18mm f3,5, the new 35mm f 1,4 and 85mm f1,4, to my surprise, they breath a lot when focusing!
Hi Brian.
Thanks for the heads up. Yes, I am aware of the breathing. The CP2’s are the same. The problem is that to get up to lenses with very minimal breathing the extra investment is considerable, it would probably have to be something like Zeiss Ultra Primes or Cooke Panchro’s but the Panchro’s at $33k for a set are way out of my budget, especially when you consider I need two sets.
What I need is a couple of decent sets of lenses that will produce good images at f2.8 or f1.8 for my own projects, training and low budget productions and then I will rent better glass as and when I need it.
