Hi Alister,
Great review on the PXW-X200.
I note that you had the SDXC card working on the ExFat file format.
I have this camera and am unable to format the SDXC cards in Exfat or UDF, they will only work with the FAT format that doesn’t allow XAVC-L.
I am getting the message “In this file system cannot use media”
I am using the sony MEAD-SD02 SDHC/SDXC card adaptor with 64GB sandisk extreme PRO card.
This post https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/142/881960 someone else also has the same question.
Could you please advise what SDXC card and adaptor type you are using.
I have also upgraded the firmware to 1.2 which makes no difference.
Thanks,
Matthew
Thanks for bringing this to my attention and please accept my apologies for the confusion caused by an error I have made (based on information from Sony).
Currently the X200 does NOT support ExFAT on SDXC cards. I got this wrong. It only currently supports SDHC and UDF. This new information has somewhat taken me by surprise as the X70, X160 and X180 all now support SDXC and ExFAT and I don’t understand why the X200 does not.
Once again apologies for any confusion caused. The review is being corrected as I type this.
