Do you use the Cache function to capture the lightening or just roll ..?

Beautiful video. Does lightning interfere with the camera’s electronics at all to cause corrupt frames?

Pretty stuff.
The partial frames diminish the effect somewhat, especially the night shots. Is that an unavoidable rolling shutter issue due to the use of a CMOS sensor? And does it go away at certain frame rates?
