If you are the luck owner of a PXW-FS7 then you will want to download this new firmware update from Sony. It fixes many of the bugs found in the release firmware and is easy to instal, taking about 20 mins to complete. It also activates the Extension unit.

Does the new firmware fix the iris adjustment problems with E mount lenses (requires many turns of the wheel to adjust iris from camera or hand extension unit)?
It does not. I just got my FS7 today and updated it. Using Metabones Speedbooster Ultra with EF glass – no luck!

I can’t get the waveform back up when the camera is set to 4K with the 2.0 firmware. Is it possible to have the waveform and 4K/
The HDMI/HDSDI must be set to HD. You can’t have LUT’s if the HDMI is set to 4K.
